With 88 minutes gone against Dynamo Kiev at Highbury in November, Arsenal's hopes of progressing in the Champions League looked doomed. Then Ashley Cole sneaked around the visitors' defence to plant home a diving header.
It is ironic that Cole's season so far is remembered for his attacking. He has told Arsenal.com that he is concentrating on curbing his attacking instincts and it has paid off with numerous solid displays at left back. Ashley won his 23rd England cap against Denmark in November.
